Avant Garter Branding

This was an extensive branding assigned during a high school graphic design course. The logo was most certainly a labor of love (having spent two weeks rendering the lettered sketches by hand), but in the end, it was most certainly worth it. The brand itself is for a fictional accessory store with a very decadent and glamorous feel. Garnering its name from a random typo, Avant Garter leans more towards the risque than most of my work, as its subejct matter is more towards that which is not appropriate for a high school setting because of this the project gave way to many constraints. The most difficult constraint was refraining from using the female form. After the rendering began, the identity took on a glossy high end feel with its elaborate logo and lacy feminine elements and I am very satisfied with the final product.
