Montessori Worksheets
In 2018, I noticed that the worksheets my daughter brought home from her Montessori preschool were a little worse for wear—faded, grainy, and sometimes printed askew on the page—so I asked the school director if they'd like help digitizing and redesigning some materials. The director gladly accepted, and here are some of my favorites:
One Hundred Board
The worksheets were simple and very specific. The dotted line font is used a lot, and there are certain numbers and letters that have to appear a certain way (an open top '4', a single story 'a'). I didn't make any drastic changes to the materials, but I enjoyed refining their design and making each worksheet precise. This project was a great opportunity to build basic Adobe Illustrator skills and design a set of documents within a system.
