Zebra Crossing | Typographical Poster
This project that began in early February was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster at would help display a literal-narrative for the term “Zebra Crossing”, by the way of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of the word “zebra” being placed in the centre of the design, under a bold sans-serif font, with the inclusion of a birds-eye view illustration of a crossing between the letters “B” and “R”.

Also included for the purpose of aesthetic detail are crossing lights, two “look left” road markings, and two sets of headlights to indicate cars coming from both directions in the not-so-far distance.

To help push the overall depth of design that little bit further, I decided to include lighting gradients alongside a grain texture in order to help push away from a look that I felt would appear far too flat, and way too polished for my own personal liking.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
