A freinds family heirloom antique Singer sewing machine table legs became a steampunk inspired side table.  Legs were powdercoated in a copper powder, connections made by screw thread and nuts for industrial touch.  The top evolved out of an experiment with Shou-Sugi-Ban, Japanese woodburning technique.  The top is dovetailed and rabbeted for a fastnerless connection.
