1st concentration. This is my baby brother on the day of his birth. The colors; blue and pink, represent the meeting of sister and brother. Combined, these form an entirely new and beautiful hue as a visual representation of the new and lovely blessing that has been given to my family in the form of a baby boy.
Pen and Ink stippling was used for the car interior. Ryan is painted with acrylic.
Experimentation with gouache ink resist.
Ryan is rendered in blue prismacolor. His toys are outlined and shaded in watercolor, like a coloring book.
