OPPORTUNITY
In a group, design an engaging and visually interesting publication dedicated to The Bauhaus.
SOLUTION
Our group created a special edition Vogue magazine paying homage to the artists and designers of the Bauhaus by showcasing how those ideals have influenced fashion today. We paired each Bauhaus artist with an influential fashion designer showcasing their life, artwork and a side by side comparison of the Bauhaus designer’s art with the fashion designer’s clothing. We included spreads such as the table of contents, a time line showing the history of the Bauhaus, and features of the women at the Bauhaus.
ROLE
Design cover layout and masthead, spreads for Anni Albers and Women of Bauhaus features, assist with fashion spreads and write the editors letter.
