I always love this kind of greetings-from-places postcard, and since I've never seen this style outside the states, I decided to make one for my home country, Taiwan, in the same vintage style.
I used elements that were inspired by some old school Chinese layout and composition, but I also made it symmetrical to make it more modern in a sort of way.
I graduated from Tunghai University, which is basically located in a forest, with stunning view and nice people and lots of animals. Looking back and I realized those are all the essentials to make a cute fairy tale and I indeed was living in one.
Everyone has a story to tell back in our college days, so this was created with a cover of a fairy tale image in my mind.
