For my weeklies 4, I have updated my animatic by fixing shot 2 and I’ve changed the timing of my shots.
In shot two, I changed my character’s posture by having her lean forward with just her shoulders instead of her whole body so we can see a bit of her facial expressions changing from nervous to determined
I’ve also made a new scene and with a few items I bought from Turbosquid, I setup my gymnasium and referenced shots 1 & 2 into the scene. I’ve added a basketball floor under my floor mat and three walls boxing my referenced scene, using my own textures. I’ve also added two shelves holding over a dozen of trophies on the walls, a vault, a beam, and a floor.
In addition, I’ve searched and personally filmed my own reference footage for shots 3 to 18. For shot 6 I used both a video of a gymnasts falling on her back after performing her layout dismount, and filmed myself falling back on my mat to get a closeup of my facial expressions for when my character will hit the ground.

Lastly, I’ve updated my shots lists. Those marked blue are the easiest the animate while the ones in red are the hardest. I will begin blocking shots 7, 8, 9, & 10 and start working a bit on shots 16, 17, & 18 for they are ones marked blue.
