Internship Task

I was assigned to create an informative banner to act as an advertisement for the upcoming U.S. Census. At my internship with the Office of Community Engagement, an office on my campus that facilitates connection between local residents of our college town and the university students, we advocate for the importance of the census. Many college students do not know that they have a great role in the census for providing accurate representation, funding, and resources for their college residences.

Because of the large canvas, I was able to utilize the space to list information in an easy-to-read, chronological order. After viewing the banner from top to bottom, the viewer should have a deeper understanding of the census and why it has importance for not only receiving personal benefits, but benefits for his or her community.
