Parle-G 1098 Share the number. Share a Parle-G. Part 1

The project is explained in two parts.

Part 1






It is very important to understand the background of the call received by childline, 
for which data of the year 2018 was studied.
The research gave me a solid ground to understand the problem and helped me worked in the areas which could contribute to the betterment of the situation.






The new range of biscuits will have the number 1098 embossed over it along with the name.
With a new design for the biscuit, it was important to come up with a new package design. This implies featuring the stories of childline heroes who have saved themselves or other fellow kids using 
the child helpline number 1098.


Launch advertisements will introduce the whole idea of the Parle initiative in raising the awareness of the child helpline number to common masses, post which the series of other ads will follow.

It was important for the subject to reach children and especially in a way where they can actually understand and remember the number and will understand the use of the same. 


Creating new childhood rhymes which are similar to the ones already exist, and adding them to everyday rhymes in school books is the idea here.

A poem narrating the story of a doll who gets in trouble when she get tested with a deadly disease and how she Child Helpline helps her fight back.






Left: A boy describes how child helpline helped him when he lost his way back home.
Right: A little kid who is suffering family abuse gets saved from every day torture when he called child helpline. 


Left: It narrates the story of a little girl who is gets saved from everyday abuse with the help of Child helpline.
Right: It describes how the childhood is getting sold by child traffikking and how Child helpline fights it back 







Making the rhymes in different languages would help make a better communication. Here I have used Marathi, English and Hindi as the three main languages taught in schools. These short stories would also be featured in newspaper which would then reach to adults as well.








 
School Id card is used as a media where the addition of numbers would stay with the student in and out of school premises. 



The stickers would make the number reach to places like locker rooms, toilet or even school bus seats, thus making an impact over student's memory.



With this ends the first half of the project.


The second half of the project involves taking the message to the masses and 
spreading  awareness of the Child Helpline 1098.
