In August of 2019 I responded to a call by a publication called BUWA to submit an artwork that speaks to Women Human Rights Defenders' problems. This illustration depicts a defender whose bow has been stolen but sits with a quiver full of arrows that symbolise hope and are key to her completing her job successfully.
