Omnium is a Project in the works by Woof Games. It's a Cyberpunk RPG, being made in the UDK. I'mworking in this project with almost all areas: Sound, Game Design, Programming, Level Design. I made some textures and materials too for the landscape. It's a big project, and we expect it to be ready as soon as Death Forever has been released.

Omnium actually started in Vendetta, a School project made by me and some friends. For the school conditions of sales and sharing, we decided to create something bigger and more adapted for the market.

But we had a question: How to show off our skills, increase then, and make a profitable game? And how to make this game different, and have fun on making it?

After some research, protyping, Omnim was our answer.

After we made our first brainstorms, I helped the team with Game Design, and begin programming.

We begun with some AI work, pathfinding, and some random tests in UDK. We then proceeded with the project. I have made a few levels on my own!

Our modeller made some models, using some of our concept art from our fine artists, and I helped with a small dialog system.

Then, I proceeded with more terrains, modelling a bit, and moar programming! Heck, that was so much fun! That made us pick up some attention, and we got a sponsor to set us on the biggest america latina gaming event, the Brasil Game Show. We made our assets, getted a pc, and showed some bits of gameplay!

It was great. We picked additional reinforcement to the team, then we finally proceeded our work. Unfortnely, our sponsor died and we were left to work with our own pockets. Which did not get us far, unfortnely, as all of us had our financial needs. But the fruits of our labor still exists, and we are proud of what we, as a bunch of friends and students have done, and reached:

Omnium was, for the most of the team, the first professional project of their Career. It was my first Independent production. The project is currently on halt, as Woof Games operation have ceased.
