I have been working with Christine Courtney, Owner of C3 Agency in NYC for the past 5 years. C3 produces events for Virgin Atlantic & Virgin America. My role within the scope of work is focused in Art Direction. The 20th anniversary of non stop flight from London to L.A. for Virgin occurred in the summer of 2010. The brand was looking to us to develop images and environments that would celebrate both the legacy of London's skyline and Mod stylings and the rock stardom that is Los Angeles. The iconic nature of both cities enabled us to create a logo to brand the event, that took place at non other than The London...in L.A. The companion collateral included invites, email announcements, placards, passes, menus and event decor that carried the elegant and hip flavor of this very special event.
