For this portrait I decided to do it of my grandma in charcoal. My grandma is a very important person in my life, she brings me so much joy and laughter. Although she has a serious side to her whenever we’re together her funny and playful side comes out. The flowers are inspired by a pattern from one of her favorite head scarfs that she often wears.
