Madras art guild is a month-long art program envisioned and executed by VR Lifestyle Centre, Chennai. The idea behind this program is to connect communities and art is the best way to connect. The program showcases art installations, paintings, photographs and other fine arts of students from art field as well as prominent artists. Through Madras Art Guild, VR China provides an accessible platform to artists and art students of the city

                                                           CONCEPT

As NIFT is celebrating its 25 years, this installation is to showcase the design and art culture of NIFT Chennai. And it is represented on a large scale sewing machine- the main tool in the fashion industry. Each part of the machine has a plethora colours, textures and materials which represent each department of  NIFT. The installation also focuses on the traditional aspects of fashion and design which also goes well with overall theme of the mall
