Muppets Google Doodle
This project was to create a google doodle based on a holiday or celebration that google has not done already, as well as, make it a gif or add some other form of motion graphics. The theme I chose to create my animated google doodle on is the Muppets.
Sketches
I first began sketching out the characters and different ways I can draw them. Although there are characters in a form of actual letters, I tried to stay away from spelling out the word "Google" and go with a design that is more implied
that it is "Google."
Animation & GIF
Below are the different pieces of the characters that were taken apart in order to create the animation and GIF and move the body parts.
Final Animation
I decided to create an additional animation because I was curious to see what I would be able to add to the GIF created. So this video is where the full body version of the characters were used for. I also added audio "Rainbow Connection" which is sung by Kermit the Frog.
