In this project we worked with a company called Spin Chip Diagnostics. Our task was to design a point-of-care platform that can analyze small samples, solid and fluid samples like for example: blood, urine, DNA/RNA, stool, body tissue and saliva. The sample it collected into a chip where the sample gets analyzed. The platform reads the chip and shows the results after 90 seconds. Our main focus was to create a simple user experience, so that the platform can be used in the comfort of a patient home to monitor their disease on a daily basis.
