Soaklin’s mission is to encourage engagement of people in growing their own food with the help of DIY, easy to use, biodegradable kitchen garden kits, best for small spaces.
For this project, i was working with a target audience of 35 to 42 year olds. After some research and speaking to people around me, from that age group, i found out that kitchen gardening is point of interest to them. So i looked at what current brands are doing to cater to kitchen gardening to help understand what i can do.
I considered 3 things- space, sustainability and ease.
I’m proposing a DIY kitchen garden kit which itself is biodegradable and can be used as manure. The kit will have the basic tools needed to grow a plant along with an instruction manual for the user. The kits allow the user to grow plants without worrying about space and are great for the smallest of apartments.
