Senior Thesis Exhibition and Project
The Challenge: The title of my class’ senior thesis exhibition was “(Dys)Functional Design(ers),” based on the theme “designing for social good,” chosen by our professor. My specific project was to address the problem of obesity, specifically in children, which has developed into something of an epidemic in the past decade or so. I was inspired to do this project by my 12-year-old sister, who has struggled with this problem but is slowly overcoming it.
