Harry Potter: An exploration on uniforms

Two years ago, I drew my favourite trio in a sunny day in Hogwarts. I was so proud of how they cam out, and how they looked more familiar to the versions I always imagined when reading the books, that I felt complete. However, there was one tiny, insignificant detail that I didn't recall: wizards are supposed to look 'weird'.

I was satisfied, until I re-read the books. Another detail came to mind: the books describe the trio wearing hats during their first years. Where had it gone? I had to fix it, and while fixing that, I remembered the colors of Gryffindor are red and GOLDEN, meaning, it should glow.
