Declout in Singapore wanted to create a teaser video to introduce their new platform where users can play online games and earn rewards to purchase their favourite game collectables. We were tasked to create some visual effects to enhance the magical fights in the dream sequences. We were allowed to do any kind of effects we wanted, as long as it fits the action.

I worked entirely on visual effects of the fight between the 2 guys at the start. I tracked the scene using the native After Effects tracker. It was tough to get accurate tracks but it managed to hold off for most of the scenes. Almost all the effects were created with Trapcode Particular. Additional effects were composited with VideoCopilot's shockwave footage and some Turbulence FD for the smoke. And of course, not forgetting optical flares everywhere! And lots and lots of manual rotoscoping and masking. But overall this was a fun and rewarding project to pull off.
