THEME PARK 101: Quarantine Edition: Dark Ride Concept Design
This is a little project I have been working on while diligently sticking to "stay-at-home" orders. The intent was to build a fictional dark ride for the purpose of writing a series of Blog articles documenting the process but then I thought it might be just as easy to vlog the process. Foam core and hot glue rough paper model
Paper model scanned and added to the scale SketchUp model
360 in-vehicle render using Enscape software plug-in for SketchUp
Enscape ride-through render inside color textured concept model
Characters based on rough model sketch are inked and coloring on the iPad Pro using Procreate. These are later added to the concept model by swapping out the original rough sketches with the new color ones.
