I then went over all the images with the pen tool to get closer lines and more accurate selections. Using the smudge tool I created grass around the mushrooms and main fairy to make everything look more accurate. I added shadows to all the characters to resemble where the sun is placed. I then went over with different filters and added a texture to the top. 

To begin this fantasy scene I compiled a sheet of different images online that I wanted to use to create this final piece. Then I created a slap comp to get the basic idea of how I wanted it all to be set up and look. 

To begin the project. I created story boards for different hypothetical of how I wanted the piece to look. I decided I wanted a fantasy scene where there are grims attacking the fairies after the kings orders an attack on them after believing they stole a grimoire.
