In order to reduce the pollution in the original shiitake mushroom industry, we redesign a procedure and products with circular economy concept. We discover that the mycelium will form a firm structure. Therefore, we allow the mycelium to grow in a mold to give the product a unique texture and touch.
一方面我們設計出重複使用的模具取代一次性的塑膠袋太空包，減少塑膠廢棄物的產生，另一方面將原本線性生產的香菇產業改變為永續的循環產業鏈。同時我們的設計也簡化了製包的工作流程，並思考其後續發展性。
On the one hand, we design reusable molds instead of disposable plastic bags and bulk bags to reduce the generation of plastic waste. On the other hand, we change the shiitake mushroom industry from the original linear production to the sustainable recycling industry chain. Meanwhile, our design also simplifies the workflow of packaging and takes its subsequent development into account.
