Line as Value: This project was about using lines to create patterns that represented the value on a previously provided grayscale. I picked my theme (was optional) as "horror and Phobias". I based my patterns in different horror/adventure japanese mangas, most specifically the works of Junji Ito and Huromu Arakawa. I translated these patterns into a prevoiuosly prvided elephant picture which I turned into a character and gave dimension to my patterns to create a more horrific look.
