Hands-on work
The sketches  are  made by hand on paper. The starting ones are made with ink and pen and the last one is  made with charcoal and acrylic paint .  I love working with details.
Have a look !!
Size- 6 feet x 4 feet
The painting is based on how poaching has to lead to extinction of animals over the past few years. An Elephant signifies extinction as the number of elephants have dropped by 62% over the last decade, and they could be mostly extinct by the end of the next decade. An estimated 100 African elephants are killed each day by poachers seeking ivory, meat and body parts, leaving only 400,000 elephants remaining.
The chained elephant signifies how humans capture animals and trap them leaving them in no condition to fight back for their right.

The elephant is walking past a deer’s skull that was also a victim of poaching. Twenty-three subspecies of deer are listed as endangered and are disappearing from the world. Most notably, Key deer, found only in the Florida Keys, were almost completely eradicated by the mid-1900s
The hands on the ivory tusks signify how humans are treating animals as objects and are killing them to purely fulfill their greed for money.

Every living thing plays a role in the food chain and Earth’s ecosystems, and the extinction of certain species, whether predators or prey, can leave behind significant impacts.

We share ecosystems with endangered species, our quality of life and our survival is linked to them. Habitat destruction, climate change, resource depletion and other factors have increased the extinction rate by a factor of 1,000, putting substantial pressure on thousands of the most vulnerable creatures on the planet.

THANKYOU!!
