Clothing is art. Dries Van Noten created a limited-edition collection of raincoats in 2018 using a traditional technique called marbling on textiles for the first time ever. This idea of the clothing being so well developed led me to design the store like an art exhibition as though the raincoats were a piece of art you could wear. The main feature of the store is the water feature which encases two mannequins wearing the featured product. These are lit by spotlights which light them brightly in the dimly lit room. By keeping the space minimal the emphasis is really placed on the intricate design featured on the raincoats with a mural featuring the pattern framing the pieces from behind.
