May 17 is international day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia. 
In Georgia people of LGBT community are often victims of violence and hatred. They face life-threatening dangers in everyday life, difficulties to find jobs, take health services. 
Government of Georgia ignores their civil rights. They often don't investigate criminal cases motivated by hatred towars sexual minorities. 
The government denies marriage between same sex partners.
Transgender people can't change gender identity record in official papers, they can't take services of hormone therapy. Families, employers mostly deny transgender people so they're forced to work as sex-workers from early ages, where they are doomed to health problems, violence and death.
