Magic Wand
This is a creative coding project written in Processing and Arduino.
My concept is based on one magic spell in Harry Potter----Lumos. In Harry potter series, the principal usage of the Wand-Lighting Charm (Lumos) is to create a light at the tip of the wand in order to see in the dark.

In one scene, Harry used this spell to examine the Marauder's Map whilst staying in Perkins's tent camping out in the English wilderness, hunting for Horcruxes. This spell only lasts a few seconds in this scene and here comes my concept.
I want to make a magic wand that will light up when being waved, and the light should last only a few seconds. The user needs to wave again to create another light, which can encourage users to interact more with my device.
I designed my wand for Harry Potter fans. Children that are curious about lighting and movement are also my target users. The idea usage scenario will be in the dark, at parties or users can play around on their own. And they can use it to decorate their house. When the wand is waved, the LED strip will light up in the dark.
