Design a book cover for I.M. Magazine and Lookbook.
Theme: “World Music Day” (July issue)
Concept
I picked the word “Unity” to start my design. World music day is about everyone gathering together during world music day where different music is played with different music instruments by different people with different culture. So I did a design where a few different music instruments are all link together to show unity.
Solution
In my design, if you see it in detail, there are different music instruments that are combined together. The reason behind it is to show unity where different country is also celebrating world music day on the July 2012. I was inspired by the pattern of the kaleidoscope, therefore, the music instruments are arranged similar to what is seen in a kaleidoscope. The colours are also based on the colour that can be seen in a kaleidoscope where World Music Day is usually have bright and fun colours too.
