An appropriation of Ed Ruscha's "Every Building on the Sunset Strip" for my final in design, based on a prompt that encouraged us to research an artist's work and appropriate it. I chose to photograph a random street in the suburbs to contrast its monotony to Ruscha's documentation of the ever-changing Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, as well as explore my personal relationship to the suburbs.
Documented using a digital camera while driving through the neighborhood, put together in In Design and printed on 8.5x11 card stock, which was then bound into an accordion book by hand.
