I've spent the last 5 year developing collections for one of the biggest Russian stationery wholesaler. The brand GreenwichLine® produces fashion paper stationery, like notebooks, planners, sketchbooks. Brand sales are growing up each year, though prices are higher than in the market.
My aim is to create collections that young people want to buy. I try to keep balance between latest fashion trends, processability and cost. So I spend a lot of time researching and taking inspiration from international brands, social media, and researching new technologies and catalogues of materials.
The creation of each artwork of capsule collection involves cover artwork as well direct dialogue with factories. I discuss product specifications with them, including various ways of printing, finishing, binding, packaging and preparing of files. I’m checking pre-samples, and sometimes I come back to step one to achieve the best quality of goods.
