Beer Labeling Projects

Beer Labeling - West Coast

This bottle labeling project's main goal was to represent the west coast side of Canada. Since the design had to be faithful to its title, it had to contain something from West Coast of Canada. Its theme was also Summer, so making it look fresh and bright was also required. The Stanley Park became my biggest inspiration, so I decided to add the map of the park in the background with a silhouette of a cyclist.
Inspiration
This time, I tried to look at some of the traditional beer bottle designs. The design on the far left was to see the basic standard for the design itself.
The "Clyde May's Alabama Style Whiskey" design on the far right was the biggest inspiration.
Beer Labeling 2 - North West

The next one was North West. Unlike the West Coast design, I received inspirations from more of cold aesthetic. However, I wanted to the North West to have warm side at the same time, so I used Blue, purple and orange colors. The mountains and especially aurora were the main spot of this design, so I put an edited image of a mountain and aurora with purple tone.
Inspiration
As soon as I started thinking about the design, this artwork raised up in my mind.
A rough look of the sky and the mountain's image in this artwork was the biggest inspiration and the font choice as well. I thought the mountain's wild image and Chinese Rocks font would fit like jigsaw puzzle pieces.

None of the designs here are actual design of Granvile Island Brewing. All of them are just made to learn the design.
