Excerpts on Waiting was presented as a 3-channel installation piece at the JHU-MICA Film Centre. The excerpts each portray separate 28 second moments on the New York City subway slowed down to last about 5 times longer than actually perceived. In this manner, the surreal vignettes force the audience to match its slow pace and pick apart at the subtleties and nuances we typically miss on our hasty commutes.
