EXPERIENCE BANANA
_experimental paperworks
The 100% Banana Project process stemmed from a four-month period working with banana fibers to create a ready-to-use material. The banana tree fiber is produced from the “pseudo stem'', the most optimal part of the trunk for reuse as it is strong and water resistant. Traditionally, this part is burned after the crop is harvested, leaving abundant waste which can be turned into a useful by-product. Recycling the fiber, helps to prevent the forests from being polluted by waste, and creates a natural material for creative use.
