I’ve explored cyanotypes on textiles a few times. On a larger scale I created curtain panels using cyanotypes and leaves fallen from a tulip poplar tree.

This project explores a smaller scale textile design on several squares of 100% cotton. The selection of botanicals and other elements matches the size of the substrate. 

The botanicals featured on these are arugula lettuce flowers, parsley flowers, and vinca. 

I plan to cyanotype many more squares of cotton and eventually put together a quilt or larger textile.
