El futuro (Luis López Carrasco, 2013) es una película de corte abrupto: formalista y a su vez política, puede pensarse como un ejercicio des-compositivo y a la vez histórico sobre formas de representación de la transición española y a la vez como una ficción interrumpida sobre la movida contracultural de los ochenta. ¿Documento? ¿Experimentación formal? ¿Post-vanguardismo? Todas esas categorías podrían estar pero a la vez ninguna de ellas le hace justicia al interesante trabajo de Luis López Carrasco, quien, entre otras cosas, es un escritor de ciencia ficción y forma parte del colectivo de cine experimental Los Hijos. Esta es su primera obra personal, y estos son algunos de los descartes de carteles diseñados en un trabajo de disrupción cromática y encuadres basados en el film en el que quisimos impregnar la parte gráfica de esa gama de colores que nos da el 16 mm cuando lo llevamos al quemado.
El futuro (Luis López Carrasco, 2013) is an abrupt film: formalist and at the same time political, it can be thought of as a non-compositive and historical exercise on forms of representation of the Spanish transition and at the same time as an interrupted fiction on the counter-cultural movement of the eighties. Documentary? Formal experiment? Post-vanguardism? All these categories could be there, but at the same time none of them do justice to the interesting work of Luis López Carrasco, who, among other things, is a science fiction writer and is part of the experimental film collective Los Hijos. This is his first personal work, and these are some of the discards of posters designed in a work of chromatic disruption and framing based on the film in which we wanted to impregnate the graphic part with that range of colors that 16 mm gives us when we take it to the burner.
