What is Performative wokeness ?
People who are more concerned with self promotion, social media likes, false solidarity and herd mentality. 

This phenomenon has always existed but has reared its head most recently with the ongoing BLM movement. Allyship should be difficult. It should entail those in society who are in a position of power to take on the burden and do actual labor to advance the RIGHTS of those most vulnerable.
