2019 WorkSource Georgia Academy

The WorkSource Georgia Academy is the training division of the Office of Workforce Development (OWD). The goal of the academy is to provide consistent and timely training to local area staff and to educate board members and partners on the provision of WIOA services in the State of Georgia.

The State of Georgia's Office of Workforce Development, also known as WorkSource Georgia, is housed within the Technical College System of Georgia. WorkSource Georgia is the state's federally-funded employment and training system, working to connect talent with opportunity. These federal funds are part of a grant program called the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

This project highlights a collection of assets created for the conference
A print brochure was created to highlight all of the different breakout sessions throughout the conference in a clean, easy to read format split between the 2 days and included a map and instructions on how to install the Whova app developed specifically for this conference.
Name badges were also created that followed the conference's specific branding.
The main ballroom consisted of a step-and-repeat backdrop of the WorkSource logos for announcements and a panel discussion, with large PVC logo display boards created hanging to the sides that also included the parent organization's
logo, TCSG.
For upcoming WorkSource Georgia Academy conferences, supplemental logos were created for an award announced at this event - the Leading Connector and Leading Achiever awards. You can find out more about the awards here.
To create all of these print and digital assets, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign were used.
