Type Specimen
Brief: Select a contemporary typeface and foundry and design and screenprint an A2 type specimen poster that captures and showcases the features, spirit and character of the typeface.
Concept: I decided to showcase the typeface Coign, created by Colophon foundry, a typeface that pushes the limits of legibility. The copywriting is a playful take on a saying as a way of highlighting the distance, or lack of, between each glyph. The supporting Gif demonstrates the full range of the family.
