3D Integrated Design, Fall 2011 - Our assignment was to create something that both resisted a certain movement and created a drawing as a result. After studying a couple of different movement, we chose one specific one. I chose the bending of the wrist, and built a system of pulleys whereby moving your hand wrist, you could move the little levers and make a design. The first image shows three designs created along with the finished drawing restraint, the second image shows how one would use the machine, and the third shows an in-progress drawing using the sketch model.
