Lately, I've been experimenting with more texture, new color combinations. As always, I try to ask myself if the piece is something I'd hang on my own wall and if it is, then it's finished!

- I'll always remember when one of my illustration teachers asked if I'd hang my work on my own wall. It seems like an obvious way to judge if a piece is up to your own standards, but something about how he worded it just clicked with me. Since then, I've been able to focus more on what I, myself, likes to draw, what I like to look at, what kind of images make me happy. I figure, if I make images I like, they'll turn out better than something I'm forcing myself to draw. In turn, potential clients are more impressed with the finished piece...hopefully. Am I rambling?
