Jessica holds her BFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and is currently an MBA candidate for Design Strategy at the California College of the Arts.
Currently based in San Francisco (USA). Prior to SF, she lived in New York, Baltimore, Erlangen (Germany), Beijing (China), and her hometown Taipei (Taiwan).
Her portfolio includes digital branding and campaign work for local and international clientele, including UNICEF, Forward.us, National Wildlife Federation, The Climate Registry, Overseas Press Club of America, and more. As a socially conscious thinker and designer, causes that interests her include: arts & culture, education, gender, race & social equality, and child welfare.

Jessica Y. Wen is a graphic designer, a photographer, and a thinker. She uses her belief that good design is like clear thinking made visual. Jessica holds a BFA in Graphic Design with concentration degree in Book Arts and Environmental Design from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). During her undergraduate career, she discovered her passion for social impact design when she became involved in the MICA Center for Design Practice—an interdisciplinary studio with a human-centered approach to problem solving, and a clear focus on making a positive impact on society. Jessica takes her experience for social design and continue designing for the positive causes in her career. Topic that interests her includes, human trafficking, social equity, postcolonialism, internationalism, feminism, and child welfare.
Jessica is currently a designer at verynice. verynice is a global design, business, and innovation consultancy specializing in solutions for social and cultural impact. Through our unique business model, we dedicate over 50% of our efforts toward pro bono services for non-profits.
