I’ve Got Your Number is a title sequence for the book ‘I’ve Got Your Number’ by Sophie Kinsella. The motion concept revolves around a fun illustrated textured look. While highlighting key events and items from the book, I kept the title sequence vague without spoiling the plot.
Tackling this motion project, I thought this book was a fun chick flick book so I decided to go towards an illustrated route, especially when I could create exactly the items I need. I first began sketching some elements and scenes from the book that I thought was important.
I then narrowed down the different ideas into storyboard sketches after choosing the right background music to go with it. This helped with pacing and getting a clear idea the different scenes I want as I align it with the information that needs to be shown.
